Support Your Local Non-Profit
The Ruth Bancroft Garden and Nursery is a 501(c)(3) organization that relies on donor, visitor and member support to help us preserve Ruth’s Garden and adhere to our mission.
The Garden’s mission is to preserve, promote, and enhance Ruth Bancroft’s world-class collection of water-conserving plants displayed in her exceptionally designed garden for the education, inspiration, and enjoyment of the public.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Events
We are currently looking for businesses and individuals to sponsor our fifth annual Garden of D’Lights holiday light event. This event runs from November 24th through January 6th and is the Garden’s flagship fundraising event of the year. Last year we welcomed over 10,000 guests to the event and we are looking to build on that momentum as we head into this holiday season.
Each year the Ruth Bancroft Garden hosts Pollinator and Friends Day. Join us for a celebration of pollinator and friends and what we can do to protect them and their habitat. This drop-in event will feature other educational organizations, unique vendors and various stations throughout the Plaza and Building.
Our annual Gala is your chance to get your name, and your business, out in front of some of the Garden’s most loyal supporters. Sponsors will be featured prominently on our Gala landing page.
2024 will mark the 30th annual Sculpture in the Garden exhibit. This exhibit runs from June through early August and highlights the work of local artists and sculptors. Sponsoring this event shows your appreciation not only for the Garden, but expresses your support for the arts as well!
Why Partner with the Ruth Bancroft Garden
Garner Community Trust
Now more than ever, it is important that businesses give back to their communities in a way that aligns with key interests of their demographics. As we experience more inclement weather at the hands of climate change, water conservation, dry gardening, and climate-resilient designs become increasingly important. Here at RBG, we pride ourselves on being a resource for education on the topics above, as well as a destination for people to be inspired by and a one-stop-shop location for those looking to build out their own waterwise landscapes.
Reach New Audiences
Partnering with the Ruth Bancroft Garden shows your current and future consumers that you have a vested interest in preservation, conservation, and our planet as a whole. It enables you to market your business to our audience. The Garden reaches a vast network of people both locally and internationally. Our members and supporters are passionate about sustainability, conservation, and climate-resilient gardening. They are horticulturalists, botanists, professors, teachers, students, and more who come from all walks of life. Boost your brand’s reputation by becoming a Garden sponsor today!
Preserve Ruth’s Garden
Sponsoring the Ruth Bancroft Garden, or one of our many events, helps us preserve the Garden that Ruth lovingly and continuously tended. She planted her Garden in 1972 and through trial and error she created a waterwise oasis that has stood the test of time. It is a beacon of resiliency and an prime example of climate-resilient gardening. Ruth’s Garden has inspired all of the services, events, and education that we provide and it is at the core of our mission. Every donation made is funneled right back into supporting the people, places, and plants that sustain Ruth’s Garden.
Support our Accessibility Efforts
We appreciate the support our community has and continues to offer us that enable us to share this space with the world. Sponsorships allow us to partner with organizations like Museums 4 All and Discover and Go to provide access to the Garden that individuals and families might not otherwise have had.
Help Fund Educational Programs
Education is at the forefront of our mission. Ruth’s Garden serves as an inspiration, but it is our goal to educate our community, and beyond, about the importance, relevance, and necessity of dry gardening. With sponsorships like yours, we are able to offer scholarships to our Dry Garden Botany and Dry Garden Design certificate programs, provide transportation for field trips, and we would like to do so much more!
Thank you
Your sponsorship keeps the Garden growing and provides your business with new prospects.
