Tecoma stans, also known as yellow bells or yellow trumpet flower, is a showy shrub or small tree (to 20 ft.) in the trumpet-vine family (Bignoniaceae). It comes from tropical and sub-tropical regions of the Americas, and is partial to deep soils and warm conditions. The showy yellow flowers give it prominence in the garden from summer through the fall months and into early winter.
