Waiting for the Rain
$700.00
Artist: Lorraine Mamvura
30″x12″x6″ – Opal limestone
Carved in pale opal limestone, this quiet figure carries the stillness of anticipation — the particular patience of waiting for something as essential and uncertain as rain. Mamvura’s women are rendered with a restraint that gives them dignity: they do not ask for attention, but they hold it completely.
