“Sunny Palms” is an original plein air painting. The sunlight was beautiful on these palms and agaves. The fall colors are beginning to peak out with the burnt sienna on the left and the amber and golden tones on the fruits hanging from the palm in the background. The greens and blues are calm and relaxing, while the agave in the foreground adds sculptural drama.
