Plant returns are eligible for exchange or store credit only within 14 days of purchase. Replacement plants must be chosen from current inventory stock. Price differences will be issued in the form of store credit if applicable. Merchandise returns are eligible for refunds or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For both plants and merchandise, there are exclusions (see “Items Not Eligible”).
All returns require original receipt.
For plant exchanges or store credit, you must have the following:
- Original legible receipt.
- The unplanted plant in its original pot with an RBG sticker on it.
For merchandise returns, you must have the following:
- Original legible receipt.
- Merchandise must be in original packaging (for example, books in original shrink wrap and undamaged).
- Pottery returns must show no signs of damage or of having been planted in (must be in sellable condition).
Some items are ineligible for returns, exchanges, and store credit. They are FINAL SALE.
Items NOT ELIGIBLE for return, exchanges, and store credit include:
- Any plant in the Proteaceae family.*
- All Sale Plants. (We periodically have 30% off Member sales and special discounts on certain items. Those items are FINAL SALE.)
- Previously exchanged plants.
- Gift certificates.
- Seeds and seed balls.
- Dish gardens.
- Potting mixes and amendments.
- Wreaths and arrangements.
- All potted-up plants (whether they are plants you had us pot up for you or plants you potted up yourself).
- Consignment items.
Abuse of this policy, as determined by nursery staff, may result in cancellation of this guarantee without notice.
All exchanges over $100 are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
*Proteaceae plants include: Adenanthos, Banksia, Dryandra, Grevillea, Hakea, Isopogon, Leucadendron, Leucospermum, Mimetes, Protea, Serruria, and more.
