“I am embarrassed that I have lived in the East Bay for nearly 20 years and just recently visited this amazing jewel for the first time. This garden is just amazing. I took some out of state visitors who were just as impressed and awed by this incredible garden. The folks working are knowledgeable and so friendly. This garden is a place to visit not once but multiple times throughout the year to appreciate the ever changing landscape – especially when it comes to blooms. I encourage everyone to visit and become a member. There is a nursery on site with an abundance of choices of plants – succulents, natives and more. I would rate the Ruth Bancroft Garden as one of the top places to visit in the Bay Area. I will be returning by myself to enjoy the serenity and beauty as well as taking my out of town visitors.”
