The Ruth Bancroft Garden’s annual Gala and online auction is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. The Gala will include the first ever Gardeneer Awards honoring some of our most famous volunteers and paying special tribute to Dick Turner, with a Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of his contributions to the Garden’s founding and ongoing success.
This year’s Gala will be virtual, which means you can have fun watching the Gardeneer Award recipients “walk the green carpet” and help support the Garden from the comfort of your home or backyard while sipping on your favorite beverage.
Friday, June 11th from 5pm – 6pm
This year’s Garden Gala also includes an online auction where you can bid on exclusive Garden events, trips, tours, art, dinners out and lots of other great items. Come back often to find hidden treasures and secret surprises!
No pre-registration or tickets needed for the online auction. You may freely browse the auction catalog but will be asked to login or register in order to place a bid. Physical items won must be picked up at the Garden, no shipping available. The online auction will take an intermission during the live Virtual Gala on June 11 from 4-7pm, but will resume thereafter and continue until 5pm on Saturday, June 12th.

Would your art or business benefit from additional exposure? Do you have a vacation home, sports tickets or other item that would make a great auction item? You can help support the Garden by donating an auction item. Business donors will receive promotion via our newsletters (over 14,000 contacts), social media, website and during the event.

7:00pm Online auction reopens – for final bidding until all items close at 6pm on Saturday, June 12th at 5pm PST
