Ruth Bancroft Garden Gala: Beyond the Garden Gate
On behalf of all of us at the Ruth Bancroft Garden, thank you for making our 2026 Gala, Beyond the Garden Gate, a landmark event that went beyond our wildest expectations. Because of your extraordinary generosity, the Gala raised more than $183,000 in support of the Garden’s mission.
One of the most memorable moments of the evening: a new aloe (Aloe zubb x squarrosa) x (jucunda x hildebrandtii) hybridized by Curator Brian Kemble was auctioned and officially named in honor of our beloved late Executive Director, Billie Hopper.
