Docent Training Program Kicks Off
Docent Training consists of 10 Saturday morning classes where you will learn the history of the Garden, gain interpretive skills, learn basic botany, develop dry-gardening skills, and build a solid knowledge base of the many species of drought-tolerant plants in RBG’s collection.

Ms. DuMont is a master gardener and graphic designer who designs beautiful garden inspired accessories. Enjoy this exclusive opportunity to visit her private garden and the inspiration behind all of her custom fabric designs. Ms. DuMont’s garden is a unique collectors garden that has perennials, roses, drought-tolerant specimens, and over 200 containers of succulents. There will be a Ms. DuMont shop set up for your shopping fun. Several new and exclusive items will be available at this garden tour that are not on the Ms. DuMont website.

Here’s your chance to spend a half-day with a 40-year professional geologist who has spent decades roaming the mountain and who’s adept at explaining geology in layman’s terms, while answering your questions.
