Cactus and Pollinators Decoration ✨

Celebrate that the cacti are blooming and that pollinators are busy bees in the Garden. Paint your own blooming cactus with a pollinator garland.

We have had custom cut cacti made for us as the first Summer Workshop Wednesday! The cactus comes with a stand so you can use it as a free standing decoration in your home. The pollinators accompanying the cactus are carefully chosen to reflect pollinators present in the Ruth Bancroft Garden. Also included are fairy lights so that you can see your cactus at night when the bats are out. You can choose to follow the sample decoration or add your very own color scheme and flair to the piece. The workshop will be lead by Miss Marie, our Children’s Education Manager at the Ruth Bancroft Garden, who will have a short introduction about pollinators and cacti.

Workshop Wednesdays at the Ruth Bancroft Garden give your children the chance to connect with nature through interactive and guided craft activities on the Plaza. Beat the summer heat with a 9am to 9:45am session and let your young ones engage in a fun and meaningful way. All supplies included. Younger participants may need help from accompanying adult. Not a drop-off. Adult must stay during the entire workshop.
