Using locally gathered pine needles (including needles from the Garden’s Pinus montezumae and P. torreya trees), a tapestry needle and raffia, we will coil a small, fragrant pine needle basket. Led by instructor Michele Hament, you will learn how to gather and prepare materials, shape your basket, and will be introduced to a variety of stitches. An instructional handout will be provided.

All materials will be provided.  Please bring a pair of small scissors and a bag lunch.
