Join us for a rewarding, hands-on workshop where  you’ll explore the magical world of cyanotype prints with botanical elements.  Developed in 1842, students will learn about the history and traditional process of sun printing. You’ll leave the workshop with beautiful blue-toned prints of your own to take home.  All materials and equipment will be provided by the instructor; just bring your creative spirit and curiosity about this magical process!

The instructor, Shay McGilvrey, first discovered the cyanotype process while she was studying art history and photography in college.  One of her favorite things to do is to teach cyanotype printing to others.  She enjoys the simplicity of the cyanotype process and  encouraging people to slow down and re-connect with their creativity.
