(Webinar) Trees & Palms in Dry Gardens
Wednesday, April 10 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
$15.00 – $32.00Event Navigation
When planning or planting a garden the first thing to consider are the large-scale plants such as trees and palms. Tree and palm selection sets the tone for the entire design and helps determine all the other plantings. These plants are important elements in garden design for various reasons, including functionality and ecological balance of the space. In this lecture, we will look at how to select a tree or a palm for both aesthetics and conditions. We will also look at a wide range of climate-resilient trees and palms that are commonly available.
Please note that this will be a live Zoom lecture and not a lecture at the Garden. After registration (see below), you’ll receive a Zoom link and lecture outline from the Program Director one day prior to the lecture. Registration will open 16 Jan 2024 and close on 10 April 2024 at 8am. This class is part of the Dry Garden Design Certificate Program series.
How it works: Register one person with one email at a time. If you would like to register multiple people, please register them each separately with separate emails. The webinar will be recorded and all registrants will receive a recording link within one business day. Once the recording is sent, you will have seven days to watch the lecture. Access to the webinar recordings after the expiration date will be a charge of $15 (members) / $32 (non-members).
