POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Join Troy McGregor, owner of Gondwana Flora, for two lectures about plants in the Proteaceae family (such as Protea, Leucadendron, Leucospermum and Grevillea). For the first lecture “Proteaceae & Pals- Overview,” we will focus on the tried and true performers, a few new releases and some rarities that have excelled at the Ruth Bancroft Garden.
For the second lecture, “Proteaceae & Pals- Care & Maintenance,” we’ll talk about best planting practices, pruning recommendations, fertilizer amendments and soil/water requirements for these Australian and South African plants.
With registration, you will be automatically enrolled in two webinars:
- “Proteaceae & Pals- Overview (Part 1)”- 31 July 2024 (Wed) @ 10am
- “Proteaceae & Pals- Care & Maintenance (Part 2)”- 3 August 2024 (Wed) @ 10am
Please note that this will be a live Zoom lecture and not a lecture at the Garden. After registration (see below), you’ll receive a Zoom link and lecture outline from the Program Director one day prior to the lecture. Registration will open 16 Jan 2024 and close on 31 July 2024 at 8am. This class is part of the Dry Garden Design Certificate Program series.
How it works: Register one person with one email at a time. If you would like to register multiple people, please register them each separately with separate emails. The webinar will be recorded and all registrants will receive a recording link within one business day. Once the recording is sent, you will have seven days to watch the lecture. Access to the webinar recordings after the expiration date will be a charge of $30 (members) / $64 (non-members).
Cancellation and refund policy can be found here.
