(Webinar) Mitigating Fire Risks Through Garden Design & Maintenance (2-part series)
Wednesday, June 22, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
$30.00 – $50.00Event Navigation
Many California residents are bracing for another season of catastrophic wildfires this summer. With climate change and shifts in land management, the intensity and regular occurrence of wildfires will be inevitable in our environment. The decisions that we make in our own gardens can make a bigger impact than most people realize. Join Jennifer de Graaf [landscape architect (Lic. #5461)], for a two-part series about how a multi-faceted, interconnected lifetime of decisions in your landscape can help mitigate your risks versus fire.
This is a two-part series webinar:
- 22 June 2022 (Wed.) @ 10-11am
- 29 June 2022 (Wed.) @ 10-11am
Please note that this will be a live, webinar workshop (offered via Zoom) and not a lecture at the Garden. After registration (see below), you will receive instructions and a Zoom link from the Program Director one day prior to the lecture. Registration will close on 22 June 2022 at 8am.
How it works: Register one person with one email at a time. If you would like to register multiple people, please register them each separately with separate emails. The webinar will be recorded and all registrants will receive a recording link via email within one business day. Once the recording is sent, you will have seven days to watch. After that time, the recording will expire. Access to the webinar recordings after the expiration date will be a charge of $30 (members)/$50 (non-members).
