(Webinar) History of the Ruth Bancroft Garden
Saturday, September 4, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am$12.00 – $17.00
Please note that this will be a live, webinar workshop (offered via Zoom) and not a lecture at the Garden. After registration (see below), you will receive further instructions from the Program Director prior to the workshop date. Registration will close on 4 September 2021 at 8am.
Long-time curator, Brian K., has worked with the Ruth Bancroft Garden plant collection for 42 years. Brian was fortunate to have worked with Ruth for decades as the garden took its present form. In this time, the garden has undergone tremendous changes moving from Ruth’s stewardship to the stewardship of the Garden Conservancy. Learn how the Garden has evolved over time in this photo-centric historical presentation, where Brian will share images of the garden over the years including seldom-seen, early photos during its construction.
How it works: Register one person with one email at a time. If you would like to register multiple people, please register them each separately with separate emails. Registered attendees will receive a Zoom link by email from the Program Director one day prior to the lecture. Simply click the link at the webinar start time to join! The webinar will be recorded and all registrants will receive the recording via email within one business day. Once the recording is sent, you will have seven days to watch. After that time, the recording will expire. Access to the webinar recordings after the expiration date will be a charge of $12 (members)/$17 (non-members).
