(Webinar) Essential Trees & Palms in Dry Gardens
Wednesday, August 25, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am$15.00 – $20.00
Please note that this will be a live, webinar workshop (offered via Zoom) and not a lecture at the Garden. After registration (see below), you will receive further instructions from the Program Director prior to the workshop date. Registration will close on 25 August 2021 at 8am. This class is part of the Dry Garden Design Certificate program series as an Elective Course (Plant Selections).
When planning or planting a garden the first thing to consider are the large-scale plants such as trees and palms. Tree and palm selection sets the tone for the entire design and helps determine all the other plantings. In this workshop, we will look at how to select a tree/palm for both aesthetics and conditions. We will also look at a wide range of drought tolerant trees and palms that are commonly available.
How it works: Register one person with one email at a time. If you would like to register multiple people, please register them each separately with separate emails. Registered attendees will receive a Zoom link by email from the Program Director one day prior to the lecture. Simply click the link at the webinar start time to join! The webinar will be recorded and all registrants will receive the recording via email within one business day. Once the recording is sent, you will have seven days to watch. After that time, the recording will expire. Access to the webinar recordings after the expiration date will be a charge of $15 (members)/$20 (non-members).
