(Webinar) Dry Garden Botanical Terminology
Saturday, March 30 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
$15.00 – $32.00Botanical names can stump even the most seasoned horticulturists. Understanding Latin nomenclature is an important tool for plant lovers and garden designers, as it’s a universally understood system for identifying and communicating about plant species. Common plant names can cause confusion and can vary regionally. With a focus on dry garden plants, you’ll learn about the etymology and proper pronunciation of botanical names in this webinar.
Please note that this will be a live Zoom lecture and not a lecture at the Garden. After registration (see below), you’ll receive a Zoom link and lecture outline from the Program Director one day prior to the lecture. Registration will open 16 Jan 2024 and close on 30 March 2024 at 8am. This class is part of the Dry Garden Design Certificate Program series.
How it works: Register one person with one email at a time. If you would like to register multiple people, please register them each separately with separate emails.
