(Webinar) Basic Garden Designs- how to select the visual theme
Wednesday, March 24 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am$15 – $20
Please note that this will be a live, webinar workshop (offered via Zoom) and not a lecture at the Garden. After registration (see below), you will receive further instructions from the Program Director prior to the workshop date. Registration will close on 24 March 2020 at 8am. This is a required class for the Dry Garden Design Certificate program.
Learn how to select the visual theme of your garden with Cricket Riley, in-house Landscape Designer. The first thing to decide when planning (or planting!) a new garden is to consider what you want it to look like when it’s finished. This garden style can be inspired by the architecture of house, the existing trees or shrubs, or one of your favorite places (like the Ruth Bancroft Garden). We’ll look at some of the common dry garden styles and highlight the basic elements you can use to achieve the look you want.
How it works: Register one person with one email at a time. If you would like to register multiple people, please register them each separately with separate emails. Registered attendees will receive a Zoom link by email from the Program Director one day prior to the lecture. Simply click the link at the webinar start time to join! The webinar will be recorded and all registrants will receive the recording via email within one business day. Once the recording is sent, you will have seven days to watch. After that time, the recording will expire. Access to the webinar recordings after the expiration date will be a charge of $12 (members)/$17 (non-members).
