Join us Saturday, April 12 @ 10:00 am- 4:00pm for a celebration of pollinators and their friends at the Ruth Bancroft Garden! Learn how you can help protect them and their habitats in your own garden and beyond.

This drop-in community day is free to attend in the Plaza and Great Room, where you can explore unique vendors, enjoy delicious food, and engage with educational organizations. Don’t miss out on the exciting butterfly and beehive observation table!

Free talks with Garden admission. Seating is on a first-come first-serve basis.

• 11:00 – 11:30 – Mt. Diablo Beekeeper’s Association Presents – The Social Life of Honey Bees: Learn how these tiny insects communicate, collaborate, and thrive in a highly organized colony.

• 1:00 – 1:30 – Golden Gate Bird Alliance Presents – Attracting Hummingbirds to your Garden
• 2:00 – 2:30 – UC Berkeley Urban Bee Lab Presents- The Buzz on Native Bees: How to create urban habitats for these tiny superstars

Additional activities for adults and children will take place in the Garden, which requires paid admission for adults. However, all children (ages 0-17) receive free admission to the Garden during this event. Members of the Ruth Bancroft Garden are always free!
