Saturday, May 11 @ 7:30 am - 10:30 am

$75.00 – $102.00

Join us for a hands-on and immersive workshop designed for students interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the landscape design process. Participants will review the site analysis and considerations (discussed in the ‘Case Study- Site Analysis Considerations’ webinar on 5/4) and learn about soil prep, sustainable plant selections and proper planting techniques. Learn how to balance aesthetics, functionality and sustainability in this case study site.

Participants will be standing during this workshop and should be prepared to get dirty while learning how to properly soil prep and plant. Must be able to bend, shovel and lift 25 pounds. A day before the class, registrants will receive information about the Walnut Creek site.

Note: The (Webinar) “Case Study- Site Analysis Considerations” on 4 May 2024 is a prerequisite for this class.

Please note that this is an in-person class at an offsite location. One day prior to the class, you’ll receive location information from the Program Director. Registration will open 16 Jan 2024  and close on 10 May 2024 at 8am.  This class is part of the Dry Garden Design Certificate Program series.
