Mexican Stonecrops (Members Only)
Saturday, March 23 @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pmFree
Brian Kemble, long-time Garden Curator, will take you on a short tour highlighting Mexican stonecrop plants (members of the family Crassulaceae). Though this family has members from other parts of the world (Africa, Madagascar, Eurasia, etc.), the Mexican representatives are especially diverse and colorful, featuring an astounding range of foliar hues (lavender, blue, fiery reds and oranges, yellow, etc.) as well as delightful flowers. They are staples of succulent gardens as well as container gardens. Learn about these plant jewels and see them growing at RBG.
