(Lecture) Resilient & Reliable Cacti for Bay Area Gardens

Saturday, August 31 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

$15.00 – $32.00

Do you live in the Bay Area and want to plant cacti but aren’t sure which to choose? Have you experienced mixed results with your cactus plantings in the past and want to make more informed decisions? Join Teddy and Szymon, RBG horticulturists, to learn about 20 proven cactus winners suitable for summer-dry gardens, from coastal to inland areas of the Bay Area.

Participants will receive a list of the top 25 recommended cacti, complete with detailed profiles and photos. The horticulturists will also share tips and best practices for soil preparation, planting, watering, and caring for cacti in the Bay Area’s specific climate conditions.

This in-person class will be held indoors.
