Proteaceae plants are well-known for their distinct and intricate floral structures that have gained popularity in summer-dry climate gardens.  Mainly from Australia and South African (with some outliers in other regions), these plants have specialized pollinators and some are adapted to fire-prone ecosystems. Join us for a walk through the Garden to learn about the diverse Proteaceae plant collection at the Ruth Bancroft Garden.

Registration will open 15 August 2023 and close on 16 December 2023 at 8am.  This class is part of the Dry Garden Botany Certificate Program series.
