OCTOBER THEME: FALL INTO FUN

October 7, 14, 21, 28 | Wednesdays at 9:30AM-10:15AM

Girl with pumpkin decorated with feathers, googly eyes and paint.Do you have a child 18-36 months old? Are you looking for children’s activities in the East Bay area? Garden Buds is a program where your child will meet the same friends each week and practice social skills in an outdoor setting while developing an interest in nature with hands-on activities. The classes will use sustainable and natural materials for the craft activities. The program will provide early education in basic plant knowledge, hands-on plant-based activities and seasonal experiences exclusive to the Ruth Bancroft Garden.

Celebrate the magic of fall with Garden Buds! October’s series invites little ones to discover the season through stories, nature, and hands-on activities. Together, we’ll explore harvest time, fruits, vegetables, and the amazing seeds that help plants grow.

Each week, your toddler will enjoy a story, a gentle walk through the Garden, and a fun craft to take home, helping bring the day’s book and theme to life. We’ll wrap up the series with a festive celebration where children can decorate their own mini pumpkin and come dressed in their favorite costume for our Garden Buds Halloween party!

The price is per child per event series- the October Series has 4 classes. The non-member price includes admission to the Garden for 1 caregiver on class dates.

One caregiver can accompany per child. If siblings, one caregiver can attend with two children.
