OCTOBER THEME: BOO-TANICAL FALL

October 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29 | Wednesdays at 9:30AM-10:15AM

Do you have a child 18-36 months old? Are you looking for children’s activities in the East Bay area? Garden Buds is a program where your child will meet the same friends each week and practice social skills in an outdoor setting while developing an interest in nature with hands-on activities. The classes will use sustainable and natural materials for the craft activities. The program will provide early education in basic plant knowledge, hands-on plant-based activities and seasonal experiences exclusive to the Ruth Bancroft Garden.

October’s class series will focus on apples, acorns, and pumpkins. We will decorate a mini pumpkin, look for acorns, squirrels and birds. The last class will be dress up day!

The price is per child per event series- the October Series has 5 classes. The non-member price includes admission to the Garden for 1 caregiver on class dates.

One care giver can accompany per child. If siblings, one caregiver can attend with two children. The price is per child.
