NOVEMBER THEME: ROOTING FOR TREES

Do you have a child 18-36 months old? Are you looking for children’s activities in the East Bay area? Garden Buds is a 3-weeks long program where your child will meet the same friends each week and practice social skills in an outdoor setting while developing an interest in nature with hands-on activities. The classes will use sustainable and natural materials for the craft activities. The program will provide early education in basic plant knowledge, hands-on plant-based activities, and seasonal experiences exclusive to the Ruth Bancroft Garden.

In November, the focus is on trees, leaves, and cones. We will craft with leaves and make the Garden Buds’ special giant pinecone holiday decoration.

The price is per child per event series- the November Series has 3 classes.

The non-member price includes admission to the Garden for 1 caregiver on class dates.

One caregiver can accompany each child. If siblings, one caregiver can attend with two children. The price is per child.
