Passport to the Dry Garden – South Africa

Get tickets here!

Join us for an evening at the Ruth Bancroft Garden and Nursery where we celebrate the organization, learn more about plants native to South Africa, and raise funds to preserve the Garden for future generations!

Ruth Bancroft was ahead of her time in her focus on waterwise gardening and climate-resilient plants, and it is because of that foresight and passion that we are able to share her Garden with our community and the world. The mission of the Ruth Bancroft Garden is to preserve Ruth’s garden for the education and enjoyment of the public, and we do so through the support we get from visitors, members, donors, volunteers and staff. We are all passionate about not only Ruth’s legacy, but our commitment to educating all who come into contact with the garden on the importance of planting for our microclimate, for pollinators, and for the future. We do this through programs, events, landscape design services, and the sale of drought-tolerant and climate-adaptive plants in our plant nursery.
