Curator’s Garden Tour- Cactus (Members Only)

Saturday, June 15 @ 9:30 am - 10:00 am

Free
flowering Opuntia macrocentra, cactus, red and yellow flowers

Join long-time curator Brian Kemble for an early morning walk in the garden to learn about its extensive cactus collection. The plants in this amazing family all come from the Americas, spanning the distance from southern Argentina to central Canada. They come in many forms, from the Mickey-Mouse-ears pads of the prickly pears to the spiny barrels of our Southwestern deserts to the stately columns of the tall kinds. Their incredible flowers are icing on the cake.

You must be a RBG member to attend this introductory, 30-minute class.

This garden tour is SOLD OUT; if you are interested in being on the waitlist, please email alice@ruthbancroftgarden.org.
