Curator’s Garden Tour- Agaves (Members Only)
Saturday, July 27 @ 9:30 am - 10:00 amFree
Agaves are all native to the Americas, with the bulk of the species found in Mexico. They make dramatic rosettes of leaves, and at maturity the rosette dies. But they go out in style, with the larger ones sending up stalks as big as a telephone pole. The garden has many kinds flowering this summer. Join long-time curator, Brian Kemble, for an early morning walk in the garden to learn about its extensive agave collection.
You must be a RBG member to attend this introductory, 30-minute class.
This garden tour is SOLD OUT. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to be put on the wait list.
