Curator-led Tour – Aloes and Friends
Saturday, February 7 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 pm
$25.00 – $35.00
Join Brian Kemble, Curator for over 45 years and a world-renowned aloe expert—for a guided walk through the Garden’s extraordinary assemblage of aloes, gasterias, and haworthias.
Brian has dedicated his life to hybridizing aloes and seeking them out in habitat around the world, shaping one of the most significant Asphodelaceae collections anywhere. On this special tour, he’ll share his deep knowledge and firsthand stories, with a special focus on winter-blooming aloes that erupt in fiery color just when much of the floral world has gone to bed. Discover why these bold, architectural plants are true winter showstoppers and a defining feature of the Ruth Bancroft Garden.
