(Demonstration) ArtScapes in the Garden (Free for Members)

Join us for an unique experience and watch an ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement) demonstration by Sahshah Ko Sen Middleton from the Sogetsu San Francisco Bay Area Branch. The demo will be on Saturday, May 20th, from 11-11:45am and complimentary with Garden admission.
Sahshah Ko Sen Middleton was born in Singapore, and began studying Sogetsu ikebana at the age of 7. She holds a first grade “Komon” certificate from the Sogetsu School. She is currently Floral Designer for the San Francisco Landscape and Garden Show in Sacramento and the bay area.
The arrangements will stay on display for visitors to enjoy until May 21st, 2023.
About the Exhibit

ArtScapes in the Garden is a unique exhibition of large-scale works placed in the Garden that will incorporate Garden plant materials. Additionally, flower arrangements will be on display in the main building, featuring the artistry of principal artists from the Sogetsu San Francisco Bay Area Branch.
