Join Jeff Moore, owner of Solana Succulents and author, for a presentation based on his newly published work, Agaves- Species, Hybrids and Cultivars.  For this webinar, Jeff will talk about agaves in the California landscape, showcasing beautiful examples of agaves as landscape and container plants.  He will feature agave species as well as a number of exciting new cultivars and the relatively new intergeneric Mangave plants.  Basic care and cultivation issues will be discussed, including planning for eventual size and combination ideas with other dry garden plants. There will be some exceptional imagery of agaves in habitat as well. Some new and yet-to-be-introduced hybrids being developed by co-author Jeremy Spath will be teased as well.

After his webinar, Jeff will have all his publications available for purchase and will be available for a book-signing in the Plaza.

Please note that this will be a live, webinar workshop (offered via Zoom) and not a lecture at the Garden. After registration (see below), you will receive instructions and a Zoom link from the Program Director one day prior to the lecture. Registration will close on 5 Feb. 2022 at 8am.  

How it works: Register one person with one email at a time. If you would like to register multiple people, please register them each separately with separate emails.  The webinar will be recorded and all registrants will receive a recording link via email within one business day.  Once the recording is sent, you will have seven days to watch.  After that time, the recording will expire.  Access to the webinar recordings after the expiration date will be a charge of $12 (members)/$22 (non-members).
