Acorns – Under the Oak Tree

Wednesday, September 22 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 am

$5

What is an acorn? Your curious child might have found an acorn on the ground, picked it up and also asked you – Where does it come from? The mighty oak tree at the Ruth Bancroft Garden and its acorns will be the focus of this class that will introduce your child to the concept of seed development and that inside each acorn lives a new tree. The formal instruction will be followed by a creative component in the form of an acorn craft. After finishing the class, all participants will have earned their Acorn Badge and receive a pin to wear.

For ages 2-5.  No drop-offs; parent/guardian must accompany child(ren).

RSVP and pre-payment on website required.

After 10am, drop-in may be an option if a seat is available (but online RSVP highly recommended).

Refund Policy- Refunds are not allowed for this event.  If you are unable to attend, you can pick up the kit at the Admission kiosk within seven days of the scheduled event.
