GODL Hotline Associate

Salary: $18-25 an hour (based on experience)

 

This is a contract position working Thursday – Sunday | 20 hours a week

Reports to: Marketing Director

The Ruth Bancroft Garden, a public garden and a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, is a nationally significant collection and display of drought tolerant plants from arid regions of the world which Ruth Bancroft found can thrive in the inland coastal region of California.

 

Job Function/Position Summary:

The GODL Hotline Associate responds to all calls and email inquiries corresponding to Garden of D’Lights. If the call cannot be resolved by the GODL Hotline Associate, it is the Associate’s responsibility to escalate the call to the Marketing Director.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and address concerns as they are presented
  • Answer emails in a timely manner
  • Navigate Altru (membership database) and use that tool to inform your problem solving
    • Confirm Membership Status/ level
    • Confirm membership account info
  • Familiarize self with ticketing website and process to help assist customers
  • Familiarize self with the Garden of D’Lights Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to help answer customer questions
  • Reschedule tickets in Altru as needed
  • Refund tickets in Altru as needed
  • Be able to communicate the refund/cancellation policy as needed
  • Help reserve tickets for media/sponsor contacts as needed
  • Report all unresolved issues to Marketing Director
  • Communicate with Marketing team regarding any support needed
  • Use Altru to add tickets to certain dates or timeslots as needed – always communicate this to the Events and Marketing teams when you do so

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to answer phone calls in a timely manner
  • Ability to answer emails in a timely manner
  • Ability to navigate Altru in a timely manner
  • Ability to navigate ruthbancroftgarden.org
