How to Get the Deal

Before you can redeem your Groupon, you have to purchase it! We can't sell you a discounted membership; you have to do it on www.groupon.com. The $17 deal gets you the Individual Membership described below.

After you purchse your Groupon, you'll get a redemption voucher with a barcode on it. Print this out and bring it to the Garden (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm or Saturday-Sunday, 10am-4pm) for your membership packet. Your benefits, including free admission, start immediately!

Buying this Groupon as a gift? Make sure you have the address and phone number for the recipient so that you can fill out the membership application on his or her behalf when you come to the Garden.

On weekdays, both the Office Entrance and North Entrance are open. On weekends, start your visit at the North Entrance.

How to Get Here

The Ruth Bancroft Garden Office is located at 1552 Bancroft Road in Walnut Creek, CA.

The North Entrance is located at 1500 Bancroft Road. Please use the North Entrance on the weekends or for special events, as the Office Entrance will be closed.

During the week, parking is available at the Office Entrance and at the North Entrance. During the weekend and for special events, parking is only available at the North Entrance.

Parking at the North Entrance is available on the gravel area adjacent to Ruth’s Folly (the green gazebo). If that lot is full, please continue down the driveway and parallel park along the left side of the driveway near the red barn. Walk back along the driveway to enter the Garden; tours begin at Ruth’s Folly. The garden is bordered by private property, so please be respectful of our neighbors and only enter the Garden through Ruth's Folly.

Parking is limited; please carpool or consider public transportation when possible. The Garden is located 1.5 miles from the Pleasant Hill BART Station and only three blocks from The Contra Costa Canal Trail, which can be accessed from the BART Station. The County Connection Bus also stops outside of the Garden during weekday commute hours.
